What does it do?

A set retarder delays the point where the mix starts to harden, in a controlled way and without lowering final strength. In hot weather the mortar does not stiffen too early, so there is time to work it. It also shrinks and separates less.

Where is it used?

  • Tile adhesive
  • Plaster
  • Screed
  • Concrete

Benefits

  • Longer working time
  • Reliable in hot-weather application
