Stone Wool Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Board
Product code 8613
Fibre board made from melted rock for thermal and acoustic insulation; 40–150 kg/m³, fire class A1.
Stone wool is made by melting natural rock at 1400-1500 °C and spinning it into fibres; 97 % of the board is insulating material. In buildings it is used in roofs, partition walls and external wall insulation. It also goes into furnaces, insulated steel doors, ships, household appliances, cinemas and entertainment venues: anywhere that needs serious protection against heat, noise, moisture and fire.
